A fire set on the third floor of Snyder Hall Wednesday morning marked the dorm's fourth fire since last November that Penn State Police Services is investigating.

Hundreds of State College residents are expected to join anti-war protests tomorrow in Washington, D.C. The event is expected to see a turnout similar to the estimated 150,000 people that attended an Oct. 26 rally in the nation's capital.

Grilled chicken as an alternative to fried chicken and vegetables not cooked in butter or oil are just a couple of changes students can expect this semester in the dining commons.

Adding to the buildup of tomorrow's clash between Penn State and Purdue at noon in the Bryce Jordan Center, the Nittany Lion athletic department has been promoting new and exciting pre-game traditions to be unveiled for the first time before tommorow's conference opener.

Joe Battista falls into a chair and smiles wearily. It's been a long week, and the travel schedule won't do the coach any favors any time soon.

The locker room hallway was virtually empty, lacking the usual clamor following a win.

Frigid temperatures and incessant snowfall are beginning to affect Penn State students, even as meteorologists question this winter's place in the record books.

The joys of working in fast food at one time or another is an experience familiar to many. But for most, the time put in flipping burgers and working the drive thru was a brief summer job and nothing more.

On its surface, a photograph looks like a piece of art that takes only seconds of work. But 2002 Penn State graduate Joel Knepper disagrees.

Charlie Kaufman, award-winning screenwriter of Being John Malkovich, was in a rut. He had the thankless task of writing a screenplay version of Susan Orlean's novel, The Orchid Thief. And although he immersed himself in Orlean's pretty but plotless prose, Kaufman couldn't conceive of a way to faithfully adapt the book.
