Stopping 8 a.m. classes may limit group space
Cutting the number of classes at 8 a.m. and scheduling more in the evening could have a detrimental effect on student activities on campus. It is hard enough now for student groups to secure classroom space for meetings, gatherings, socials, etc.
If these rooms were to be reserved for later classes, leaders of student groups will feel the pinch even more. As many can attest, finding space in the HUB-Robeson Center is equally difficult.
Other alternatives to class scheduling should be investigated, and the full repercussions of any decision should be analyzed before any final choices are made.
