Police Log

Assault: A 27-year-old man was assaulted around 12:50 a.m. yesterday in the 100 block of West College Avenue, the State College Police Department said.

After being hit and kicked in the face, the victim was transported by Alpha Community Ambulance Service to Centre Community Hospital, where he received 20 stitches, police said.

Suspects include three white males between 5-feet-8-inches and 6-feet-2-inches tall, wearing dark coats, and one female described as 5-feet-5-inches tall with blonde hair, wearing a light-colored jacket, police said.

Theft: A laptop was stolen Wednesday from Kappa Sigma Fraternity, 234 E. Beaver Ave., the State College Police Department said. The estimated value of the loss is unknown, police said.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
