Art Tragesser, head coach of Penn-Trafford High School in Western Pennsylvania has been named head coach of the 2003 PNC Big 33 Foootball Classic's Pennsylvania team. The head coach of the Ohio team will be Mike Mauk of Kenton High School.
Tragesser, selected by the Pennsylvania Scholastic Football Coaches Association (PSFCA) will be assisted by Gil Brooks of St. Joseph's Preparatory School in Philadelphia, Mark Capuano of Moon High School, Steve Shiffert of Easton Area High School and Jim Trent of Schenley High School.
Mauk's assistants will be Dave Everson of Richmond Edison High School, Byron Morgan of Solon High School, Tony Shoulders of Loraine Southview and Tim Hinter of Marion Harding High School.
The 46th annual Football Classic will be held Saturday, July 19 at Hershey Stadium. Dan Marino, former star quarterback of the Miami Dolphins and a member of the 1979 Big 33 team, is the game's Honorary Chairman.
