Police Log

Theft: Tait Farms Foods Inc. reported a 1996 forest green Ford Explorer was stolen sometime between Sunday and yesterday, the State College Police Department said. The vehicle has a Pennsylvania license plate with the number DK671, police said.

Theft: An apartment in the 900 block of West College Avenue was broken into and robbed sometime between Dec. 31 and Jan. 5, the Ferguson Township Police Department said.

Items stolen include CDs, DVDs, three video game systems, controllers to two of the systems, games, a DVD player and numerous VHS tapes, police said.

Anyone with information regarding the theft is asked to contact the department at 237-1172.

Vandalism: A 17-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy were charged with more than 50 counts of criminal mischief for shooting vehicles and business windows with BB and pellet guns, Ferguson Township Police said.

The damage totaled about $20,760, police said.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
