Traditionally, this week completes the arduous journey into brotherhood at many Penn State fraternities. This letter goes out to all of the new members or pledges of those fraternities. The real challenge of brotherhood isn't complete once pledging is over; it only begins.

If you really want to make a difference in your chapter for all of the wrongs that you may have seen during pledging, take the opportunity to stand up and say what's wrong.

You may find yourself standing by yourself, but often it takes only one person a little bit of time and resolve to make legitimate change in his chapter. The many that will come after you will surely appreciate it. Don't give up.
