Letter to the Editor
Readers respond to letters about homosexuality (2)

In response to Ms. Becky Keister's and Mr. Matt Mellott's letters (Dec. 2): You're both entitled to your opinions; I would not deny you this. However, for you to decree that homosexuality is either healthy or unhealthy -- normal or abnormal, sinful or not -- doesn't mean that everyone else has to agree with you. Mr. Mellott cited the priest abuse scandal as a problem linked to homosexuality. I'm sure that no heterosexual person has ever committed some sort of crime that involved abusing children in a sexual manner.

This world, including this campus, is not entirely Christian, homosexual or heterosexual. If Christians can build a church, the LGBTA students can have a resource center.
