Uni-Mart disturbance leads to arraignment

A Huntingdon man was arraigned yesterday on charges of disorderly conduct, receiving stolen property, and harrassment and stalking in connection with a disturbance at the Uni-Mart Center, 3180 W. College Ave.

Cesar B. Reynolds, 21, was arraigned after the store's manager, Dennis Nelson, called police. Reynolds allegedly stole 67 Burger King watches valued at $2.39 a piece from the store and a bag filled with potato chips, a police criminal complaint said.

Nelson told police he called Reynolds and two other employees to fire them for giving away free food and taking items from the store. Nelson said Reynolds began to "flip out" after he fired him, kicking and throwing items around the store, the complaint said. Nelson said at one point, Reynolds cocked his arm back and threatened to punch Nelson.

Reynolds was arraigned in lieu of $1,000 bail. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Wednesday in the Centre County Courthouse, Bellefonte.
