Police Log

Theft: A staff member reported a historical marker was stolen sometime before 11 a.m. Nov. 7 from North Atherton Street across from the Nittany Lion Inn, Penn State Police Services said. The sign is valued at $1,300, police said.

Theft: A bookbag was stolen between 10 and 10:50 a.m. Thursday after it was left unattended in 100 Thomas Building, Penn State Police Services said. The estimated value of the bag is $550, police said.

Theft: A student reported his bicycle was stolen between 6:30 and 10:30 p.m. Thursday from the bike rack at the Intramural Building, Penn State Police Services said. The estimated value of the bike is $375, police said.

Criminal Trespass/Public Drunkenness: Joshua Croyle, 22, of State College, was arrested on charges of criminal trespass and public drunkenness after he entered three different apartments without permission and remained inside refusing to leave after being told to do so by the residents, the criminal complaint said.

The complaint also stated he appeared to be intoxicated. Croyle was released on $1,000 unsecured bail with the special condition he would not consume alcohol. He will face a preliminary hearing at the Centre County Courthouse in Bellefonte on Wednesday.
