[ Friday, Nov. 22, 2002 ] Today's University Park forecast Another winter storm is visiting the northeastern part of the country this weekend, including State College. Precipitation should fall initially as rain today, and then change over to snow or a wintry mix overnight. Snow showers will begin to taper off in the morning and yield to partly sunny skies and unseasonable cold for the rest of the weekend. A cold front will then race across the state early next week and bring scattered snow showers. After this it will be slightly colder as we approach the Thanksgiving holiday. -- Prepared by the Campus Weather Service Five-day forecast Today: Periods of rain. High 43.
