As residents of Snyder Hall, we're pleased to announce denied access to all trash receptacles in the building. In light of new rules and regulations stemming from the recent fires, the danger of having combustible materials such as paper, boxes and food packaging in the building has been "extinguished." Currently, we must travel outside of the building to throw our "combustible materials" in the trash. This isn't only convenient for us, but keeps these materials out of the reach of miscreants. God only knows that one such person could not find combustible materials in their own room, around the building or the giant stacks of newspapers placed around campus. We're unsure how Residence Life could overlook the rather obvious fact that it's possible to set a fire with most any material. While we thought college was to gain responsibility and freedom, we think our mothers are yelling at us to take out the trash.
