Penn State Div. I ACHA Icers junior forward Glenn Zuck was named the ACHA Player of the Month for October yesterday.
Zuck is a key contributor for the Icers, who were undefeated through their slate of six October games. In winning the honor, Zuck netted 10 goals and contributed on several others with 10 assists.
Six of those goals came in two games, as Zuck followed up his season-opening hat trick against Rhode Island by repeating the feat two games later in a 9-1 Icers victory over Kent State.
Currently, Zuck leads the ACHA in points with 35 in 10 games, including 17 goals. One of four Penn State players to make the ACHA All-America First Team last season, Zuck recently scored his 150th career point.
13 of Zuck's 20 points, including five goals, came on the power play, where Zuck plays on the "Red Line" alongside senior forward Neal Price and sophomore forward Kevin Jaeger.
