The Lady Icers will look to stay unbeaten in ACHA competition this weekend when they take on Michigan State.
The Lady Icers are coming off two impressive outings in Boston last weekend, where they knocked off Massachusetts-Amherst, 5-2, and tied Boston University, 2-2.
The weekend was even more impressive considering the team was coming off back-to-back losses the previous weekend.
The team also had lost right winger Kate Specchio to a broken leg.
In Michigan State, the Lady Icers face a team that they outscored 12-3 in two dominaing victories last season, including a 5-0 shutout in the quarterfinals of the ACHA National Championship Tournament.
The games against Michigan State are the Lady Icers' only home games in the month of November, as the team is currently in a stretch where it will spend four out of five weekends on the road.
