The Penn State men's and women's swimming and diving teams will enjoy a weekend off from its regular grueling Big Ten competition.
The meet will include all ages of swimmers, from young kids to an open swim for adults, who will be taking on the Nittany Lions' swimmers.
There will be no diving competition at the meet.
The Lions will head back into competition on Dec. 7 when they head to Athens, Ga., to swim in the Georgia Invitational.
The men's squad will be looking to improve on its 0-2 start to this season, including last weekend's difficult loss to the University of Virginia, 132-106.
Junior Todd Minnier, who won both the 100- and 200-yard freestyle last weekend against Virginia, and senior Eugene Botes will lead the men into the Invitational.
The women's squad has also gotten off to a slow start this year, losing to the highly ranked University of Florida and Virginia.
Freshman diver Lisa Silvestri, who took the one- and three-meter competition against UVA, and junior Sally Anderson have starred in the early season for the Lions, who showed marked improvement over the last weekend.
