Today's University Park forecast

A weird week of weather lies ahead for State College. It will start out feeling like the middle of spring, feeling rather warm with the possibility of afternoon thunderstorms. These may be severe with damaging winds. After this system passes through, temperatures will drop to more November-like levels. Clouds will remain, as well as the potential for rain showers. A break from precipitation will be brief as we arrive at midweek. Another system is expected to affect the region, bringing with it the chance for flurries or wet snow towards the end of the week.
