Football fans in Beaver Stadium who were watching the sky instead of the field on Saturday might have been concerned as they saw a plane flying overhead.

A controversial religious group, The International Churches of Christ (ICC), has entered the State College area.

Steve Austin's "Stone Cold Stunner," The Rock's "Rock Bottom" and X-Pac's "X-Factor" -- he's survived them all.

From a strong defensive team to a powerful offensive team, the Penn State field hockey team played both this weekend.

A little blood never went so far.

They had it coming. Two years ago the Penn State men's rugby team visited the Towson University and lost, putting a blemish on a season where it went all the way to the National Championship finals.

For a while, it looked grim.

Looking across the court, it was a not-so-familiar sight for Penn State's Kim Holm and Illinois' Lauren Harks. They were wearing different uniforms and on opposite teams.

Former Penn State football star and real estate financer Donald Abbey held an intimate chat session this past Friday with honor students from the College of Business that was organized with the help of the Executive Director of Leadership Gifts, Eloise Stuhr. Abbey shared his financial expertise and advice with the aspiring business students while mixing in some humor and sports metaphors in an hour-long session in Atherton Hall.

Playing shorthanded for most of a game will often lead to little or no success for a hockey team.

Coming off a disastrous loss to highly ranked Florida in the season opener, the Penn State women's swimming and diving team had only one way to go: up.

The Penn State men's swimming team fell to 0-2 after a 132-106 loss to the University of Virginia on Friday at McCoy Natatorium.
