On Friday, Michigan coach Ron Warhurst said Wisconsin could run away with the meet.
"They could win easily, leaving a lot of teams fighting for second place," he said.
He was right.
The Buckeyes finished the race with 79 points-54 behind the Badgers. Coming in a close third was the Wolverines who scored 80 points.
The Lions will compete next at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Nov. 16 at Purdue in West Lafayette, Ind.
