WEATHER
[ Friday, Nov. 1, 2002 ]
partly cloudy
Today's University Park forecast

A high pressure system is moving into Happy Valley. This will make the weather more tranquil than the winter-like conditions experienced earlier this week. Although the chance is slim, some lake effect snow may make it down to State College. Otherwise the weekend will be peppered with periods of sunshine and clouds. Temperatures will continue to be below normal even as we move into November. The next chance for significant precipitation is the middle of next week.
