Adelphia Cable company subscribers can now watch the ABC Family Channel on channel 59 in the State College area, according to a press release from Adelphia.

The addition came, in part, at the request of baseball fans from around the region. Local viewers complained that many of Major League Baseball's postseason games were broadcast exclusively on the ABC Family Channel, the release said.

Along with baseball, the channel also broadcasts other sporting events and family-oriented shows.
