Column devalues sniper tragedy in Washington, D.C., attacks 'straw man' (3)
I have to take issue with Daniel Moore's most recent missive. I, like many people, don't always agree with President Bush or his policies. However, to turn a tragedy like the sniper shootings into a platform for Mr. Moore to let out a snide and childish rant about the President is unconscionable. Shame on you, Daniel, for going for a dirty, callous, and cheap pop, in order to put forth your own ideology. Whether it's making a catty comment on a coworker's opinion column or the lonely railing against a supermarket chain's setup, you have yet to let The Daily Collegian readers down. Why are you wasting your talent on a school newspaper? With your sense of irony and malice, you should run your own web log. Maybe then you would get the readership you deserve. In other words, none.
