I picked up a Daily Collegian recently, excited to read about or at least see a picture of the homecoming king and queen. I was very disturbed to see the lack of coverage on the story. Their names only appeared at the very end of an article about the parade. Considering the fact that this is perhaps the first time a black man has claimed the crown, I hoped that the Collegian would have captured this historical event with more depth. A lot of students were quite disappointed not to see a better story on such a memorable event.
