Woman should decide if abortion right, wrong
Being pro-choice, I read Vinny Grande's letter ("Anti-abortion arguments exist in realm of ethics," Oct. 21) with mixed emotions. I strongly believe that it isn't our decision either way to say what's right or wrong with abortion. It's a decision that should be left up to the woman who has to make it. Everyone in this country is being brought up differently from someone else. So what is right or wrong morally to them isn't necessarily right or wrong to someone else. You might not believe in abortion, as you see it as killing another human being, and that the person should be punished. But without proper protection of abortion rights, women will still continue to have the procedure done and most likely it will be in back-alley abortion clinics with the women receiving the ultimate punishment: death.
