Professor to speak on lack of sex education

Sol Gordon, emeritus professor at Syracuse University, will present "Why We are Losing the Battle for Sex Education in the School" at 11:30 a.m. today in the Nittany Lion Inn. The speech is part of the Forum lecture series, a lunchtime speaker series sponsored by the Faculty Staff Club.

Gordon, a clinical psychologist and sex educator, is the author of The Teenage Survival Book, Why Love is Not Enough and How Can You Tell If You're Really in Love? He has also made television appearances on The Oprah Winfrey Show, 60 Minutes and The Today Show.

The event is open to the public. Tickets for the event are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and will be on sale at the door. The cost, which includes lunch, is $10 for Faculty Staff Club members and $12 for non-members.
