The university policy on throwing things in Beaver Stadium is treating the students like they are children.
But that's for a good reason: We have acted like children.
There are plenty of ways to have fun at a football game.
For example, you could always watch the game and support Penn State. Some students feel, as Brian Franko expressed in his letter to the editor (Sept. 30), that the university is trying to crack down on fun.
The fact of the matter is the university is protecting its students.
Frankly, if throwing bottles of water is such a blast, then there are plenty of areas around campus where you can do that.
Feel free to go buy some overpriced water and hurl it at each other's heads in the name of fun.
Sorry, kids, but when it comes to being treated like a child, you can only complain when you aren't being one.
