Because of the dates of this year's fall break, Penn State's lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community and its allies will celebrate events supporting National Coming Out Day a week early.
The university's celebration will begin tomorrow and include a rally Friday on the steps of Old Main and events at the HUB-Robeson Center start at 10 p.m. Saturday. It will conclude at 2 a.m. Sunday.
The national celebration of the day, which is designed to promote honesty and openness, is traditionally held on Oct. 11.
