Penn State alumnus Edward Rosenstein will be on campus Sunday for a free public screening of A Tickle in the Heart, a film he co-produced.
The film, which chronicles the lives of Klezmer music giants Max, Willie and Julian Epstein, will be shown at 7:30 p.m. in Carnegie Cinema. Rosenstein will also be making classroom visits today.
After graduating from Penn State, Rosenstein moved to New York City, and since then has worked mainly as a documentary filmmaker. His work has aired on ABC, A&E, the Discovery Channel, HBO, MTV and PBS. His 2001 film, Called to Action: An Untold Story of 9/11, was nominated for an Emmy Award.
Rosenstein has also worked with director Martin Scorsese and produced several music videos and more than 100 television shows.
