The Nittany Valley Symphony will open its season with "American Tribute" at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Eisenhower Auditorium.
"American Tribute" is the first concert of the 2002-2003 "World in Harmony" season. The concert features Aaron Copland's Old American Songs with soloist Norman Spivey, Duke Ellington's Harlem and Antonin Dvorak's New World Symphony.
The Nittany Valley Symphony is central Pennsylvania's only full-sized orchestra providing classical, pops and family programming. Tickets are available at the Eisenhower Box Office and by calling 863-0255.
Tickets are $18.50 for adults, $16.50 for seniors and $7.50 for students and children. Group rates are available.
