Job development and education reform were the key issues debated by Pennsylvania's gubernatorial candidates last night at Eisenhower Auditorium.

A 31-year-old State College man was arraigned on rape and sexual assault charges yesterday in connection with an alleged rape of a man in August.

After a seven-month investigation by the Centre County Drug Task Force, Shane Lee Wolfe was arrested in connection with drug distribution and possession yesterday, according to a task force press release.

Vincent McGee, 37, was found guilty of first-degree murder yesterday in the Nov. 8 slaying of his wife in their State College home.

Fraternities and sororities maintained a higher grade point average (GPA) during Spring 2002 than they had in the past three academic years, according to a report distributed at last week's Penn State Board of Trustees meeting.

The lights dimmed. The video screen behind the stage flickered on. First it showed a setting sun and then a moon rose.

Indie music fans are going to have to stop complaining about the lack of original music talent in State College.
