Penn State President Graham Spanier will speak on the state of the university at 3 p.m. today in Eisenhower Auditorium.
This year's address will focus on the university as a more student-centered institution, university spokesman Bill Mahon said.
Spanier will discuss the constantly changing needs of students and the demand on the university to adapt to those changes, Penn State spokeswoman Amy Neil said.
An ice cream social in front of the auditorium at 2:30 p.m. will precede Spanier's address, and all events are expected to conclude by 4 p.m.
