The Centre Region Code Enforcement office is continuing the investigation into the collapse of the parking deck at Pepper Mill Condominiums, 710 S. Atherton St., State College Police Department Sgt. John Gardner said yesterday.

Police said the investigation is focusing on the amount of asphalt that had been added to the deck in recent years.

The deck collapsed Tuesday evening, crushing some cars and damaging others.

No one was injured in the accident that closed portions of South Atherton Street for about 12 hours.
