It's good to see the reparations debate in The Daily Collegian again. Perhaps this time we can see past the rhetoric and understand that the logic behind the argument for reparations is misguided and dubious at best.

I refer you to the article by David Horowitz, "10 Reasons Why Reparations For Blacks Are A Bad Idea For Blacks And Racist, Too." I feel it's worth mention that the Collegian [business division] refused to print a related advertisement by Horowitz when it was first circulated.

I hope that reading Horowitz's article will give you a perspective on this volatile issue that you may not have considered in the past.
