The Creative Oasis, 133 E. Beaver Ave., will hold its fall open house from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Those interested are invited to try wheel throwing, handbuilding, and other arts and crafts.

The Oasis staff will be on hand to answer questions about afterschool options for children, art classes for adults and other special programs.

The Creative Oasis is a community non-profit organization dedicated to promoting art and art education in State College and the Centre region.

Because activities may be messy, participants are asked to dress accordingly.

Demonstration seating is limited.
