State College Police arrested Alvin Parham Wednesday afternoon after responding to a 911 call from Leteka Rodriguez at 445 Waupelani Dr.
After Rodriguez refused to give Parham money, Parham grabbed Rodriguez's purse and pushed her head away. The victim attempted to call the police but Parham pulled the phone out of the wall while repeatedly pushing her on the head.
Rodriguez also reported Parham threw a glass bottle of Mad Dog 20/20 but missed. Shortly after, Parham threw a glass flower vase at her, striking her in the back.
The defendant left on a bicycle and Rodriguez called the police from the rental office.
Parham is being charged with harassment and stalking, robbery and simple assault. His preliminary hearing will be July 17 in the Centre County Courthouse in Bellefonte.
