Police Log

Theft: A triangular-cut diamond was reported missing yesterday morning by Naomi Weller, 73, of State College. Weller was reportedly walking to church at 10 a.m. when her gold necklace broke without her noticing.

After searching the area where she lost it, the 300 block of East College Avenue, Weller found her necklace but the diamond was missing. The estimated value of the diamond is $3,000.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
