The Art Alliance of Central Pennsylvania is now taking registration for summer camps being held for the youth of the area.

Four different sections of the camp will be held throughout the summer. All sessions are open to those of any age group. The camps will meet from 12:30 to 4 p.m. for one week.

The first session will last from June 17-21, the second will be from July 22-26, the third will take place from Aug. 12-16, with the final session being held from Aug. 26-30.

The camps will be held in Open Studio space in the lower level of 824 Pike St. in Lemont, PA., including an indoor studio and large yard.

In addition, a special photography camp will be held for children of age 9 or older from June 10-14.

The camps will involve the children in varying individual and group experiences each day of the week.

Activities are scheduled to include painting, papermaking, printmaking, collage, assemblage, claywork and wheel throwing.

Each camp session will offer different activities for those involved. Tuition for these sessions will be $105, which will include all the materials and supplies required.

The separate photography camp will teach basic principles of photography through constructing a camera, taking photographs and developing photos in a darkroom. Tuition is also $150 with an additional $15 materials fee.
