In response to Ms. Belz's assertion that Israel is massacring Palestinians and dumping them in mass graves, CNN, Fox News and the Jerusalem Post will have to disagree with you on that.

As for the houses Israel bulldozes, they have been found to be harboring weapons and they have been used as bases for gunmen. Ms. Belz wants to talk massacres? What of the Israeli children who were massacred at Sbarro's? What of the elderly who were massacred at their Seder? What of the teenagers massacred at the Tel-Aviv disco? What of the 50 tons of illegal weapons Arafat has been linked to recently? What of the $25,000 Iraqi cash bonus to homicide bombers? What of the gunmen that attack Israeli soldiers and civilians? There is an old saying: Live by the sword and die by the sword. If a house harbors illegal weapons and gunmen, then it should be destroyed. Israel could just wipe out the entire camp but instead they are putting their own lives at risk by going house to house to make sure that they only target the terrorists.

Does the Penn State community realize that there never was an independent country of Palestine? Jordan and Egypt occupied the West Bank and Gaza respectively in 1948 and in their 20 year occupation, neither country made any effort to create a state of Palestine. The only country to ever attempt to offer the PLO a state is Israel.
