'The Corrs Live in Dublin'
Album review

Personally speaking, live CDs are always the way to go. Take out the studio-produced sound and you're left with real music.

While many pop groups are considered manufactured by the business and artificial in sound, The Corrs Live in Dublin album disproves that stereotypical theory.

With an effective use and variety of instruments and strong vocals, The Corrs manage to create harmony as well as downright good music. Did I mention that the group also paired up with Bono from U2? Ron Wood from The Rolling Stones also added some impressive guitar sounds into the music. Just can't get any better.

For those that are already fans of this Irish band, made up of three sisters and one brother, you will find hits from their previous albums as well as a few covers from other bands and some instrumental arrangements of traditional Irish music.

This is a band that plays its own instruments and one of the members is an exceptionally talented violinist. Their musical talent is apparent not only in the songs with vocals, but also in the instrumental arrangements.

Live performances prove how talented or lacking in skill a musician or group of musicians can be. This album shows, without a doubt, that The Corrs know about music and what it takes to be successful artists.
