Dave Matthews concert was better than review
This letter is in response to Dante DelVecchio's review of the Dave Matthews Band concert. I find it hard to believe that anyone who would call themselves a "fan" of the Dave Matthews Band to say that last Friday nights' concert was anything less than great -- if not one of the best shows I've ever seen them perform. So they may not have had 15-minute jams for every song. Big deal, that would get tiresome anyway. So they played four songs from the Everyday album. Oh no! Watch out! That's dominating the set list. If you want to wax semantics, he also played four songs from the unreleased Lillywhite Sessions songs that will probably appear on their new album this June. The people who didn't like the concert probably didn't even know that or recognize the Lillywhite songs. Myself, and anyone else who considers themselves a real fan, are relieved when we don't have to hear "Ants Marching" for the millionth time -- we hear it enough already, coming out of every Jeep on College Avenue.
