Awards given out to outstanding students

The Penn State Student Awards Ceremony luncheon will take place at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel.

The annual awards honor the highest levels of academic excellence, leadership and service.

The following are among the students who will be awarded at the ceremony:

K.M. Edem Adubra won the W. LaMarr Kopp International Achievement Award.

Catherine M. Anderson and Andrew J. Latowski won the Ernest B. McCoy Memorial Award for successfully combining athletic participation with academics.

Kimberly Cassidy-Miller won the Outstanding Adult Student Award.

Nicholas Marsilio won the Jackson Lethbridge Tolerance Award for his efforts to enhance understanding of diversity.

Brian Pandya and Rachel Reynolds won the Ralph Dorn Hetzel Memorial Award, which recognizes academic achievement, good citizenship and leadership.

Amanda Wetzel won the Eric A. Walker Award for her involvement in extracurricular activities.
