The State College Borough Council will meet tonight to discuss the installation of surveillance cameras on East Beaver Avenue.

After working with different hypothetical terrorism situations such as receiving a 911 call reporting a chemical threat at Beaver Stadium, members of the Centre County Terrorism Task Force concluded their training activities on Thursday.

After a six game reprieve that included five straight wins and just five errors, defensive mistakes once again plagued the Nittany Lions against Purdue at Beaver Field this weekend.

The Nittany Lions committed two errors and had one passed ball leading to four unearned runs for the Boilermakers.

It was somewhat of a fluke that Iowa's Alexis Maday got involved in gymnastics 13 years ago.

The No. 18 Penn State men's lacrosse team (3-4, 0-3 ECAC) lost its fourth consecutive game Saturday at the hands of No. 11 Massachusetts (7-1, 2-0 ECAC), 13-12.

With the team score against Old Dominion tied 3-3 and the team's season teetering on the brink, the match fell on the shoulders of Marton, a freshman from Phoenix playing at the No. 3 singles position.

The Penn State men's indoor track team began its outdoor season Saturday with the Jim Thorpe Invitational at home.
