After reading the letter in the Collegian Wednesday, I need to speak out. For four years I attended every single Nittany Lion and Lady Lion home game. If I were to choose a team to see now, it would have to be the Lady Lions.

I was at a Nittany Lion game this year supporting them as I always do and I took notice to the crowd. There were a lot of people in attendance. However, when I was at the two NCAA tournament games for the Lady Lions, there were fewer people in attendance. My roommate told me that was because women's basketball is not good. I would be willing to put any amount of money on a game between the men's team and women's team. My money would be on the women.

This is not at all a knock on our men's team, but our women's team is just plain better this year. Really better. Check them out next year. We have a potential Naismith winner and an amazing point guard playing on a team that will fight for the National Championship.
