The Penn State University Ambulance Service was one of seven schools nationwide to be recognized at last month's annual conference of the National Collegiate Emergency Medical Services Foundation.

The ambulance service received the "Striving for Excellence in Campus EMS" award at the ninth NCEMSF conference in Stony Brook, N.Y. The group also received awards at last year's conference.

More than 350 representatives from campus EMS groups across the country attended the conference.
