She loved cars so much that she was pursuing an engineering degree in hopes of becoming a car designer, Karoline Smith said of her sister, who died Sunday.

The Undergraduate Student Government executive candidates debated last night in the last official forum before tomorrow's election.

About 60 students gathered for a rally at the Capitol Rotunda in Harrisburg. The students, mostly members of the Council of Commonwealth Student Governments, met with state representatives to discuss state appropriations.

The 165-pound Doc Vecchio became an All-American this past weekend at NCAA Championships in Albany, N.Y.

One was a 5-foot-7 point guard who would be shadowed all day by the best player in the country. The other had not played against this caliber of guards on the defensive or offensive side of the ball this season.
