Jess Reese (freshman-DUS) and Jona Lamphier (freshman-premedicine), both sisters of Kappa Phi Sorority, sell daffodils to Chris Hackman (junior-insurance) to help support the American Cancer Society next to the Corner Room, 100 College Ave. on Wednesday afternoon. According to the American Cancer Society website, the daffodil is actually one of the first flowers to bloom in the spring and represents the hope for a cancer-free world. The proceedes support the American Cancer Society's research, education, advocacy, and service programs.
