The Penn State women's basketball team drew the seventh largest average crowd in the first two rounds of the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament among the 16 host sites.
The Lady Lions averaged 6,833 fans for the two sessions played at The Bryce Jordan Center, which was an eight-percent increase from the season average of 6,325.
Oklahoma drew the largest average crowd (11,200) for the opening two rounds. Eight of the first and second round sites, including Penn State, saw an increase in their average attendance last weekend compared to their regular season average.
