Police Log

  • Assault: A Penn State student was assaulted early Sunday morning on the 500 block of Beaver Avenue, the State College Police Department said. The student's eardrum was torn or punctured as a result of the attack, police said.

  • Theft: A Penn State student reported the theft of his bicycle from a rack near the White Building Sunday afternoon, Penn State Police Services said. The estimated value of the bicycle is $600, police said.


In case of an emergency, on or off campus, dial 911. For business and nonemergency calls, call the State College Police Department at 234-7150 and Penn State Police Services at 863-1111.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
