Today's University Park forecast
mostly sunny The warm temperatures will continue through today before a cold front slides through by Saturday. Showers associated with the front will interrupt the beautiful weather late Friday afternoon and during the night, but the sun should break through once again Saturday afternoon and stay with us through early next week. Although temperatures will cool from today’s peak, they will hover around seasonable levels giving a crisp, spring-like feeling to the air.

Highlight

Fog can play a major factor in dangerous driving conditions. Yesterday morning's foggy conditions caused a massive pileup in Ringgold, Georgia. The severe accident that involved over 125 vehicles claimed ten lives and hospitalized over thirty-five people. An accident such as this is just another example of how important forecasting and communication can play in daily lives.
