I understand there are things that are more important than sports and I understand the circumstances that surrounded last weekend in sports, yet the Penn State women's swim team did an incredible job last weekend.

I am a member of the team that went from No. 11 to No. 1 in the Big Ten, in just six years. The team is extremely proud of their accomplishments and we didn't get the time of day in the Collegian. We have amazing individuals on the team, yet we won the Big Ten as a team effort, with everyone scoring in at least one event. That is an accomplishment unmatched by any team, in any sport.

We were very disappointed with the little article following our biggest accomplishment to date. Hopefully after NCAA's, where our goal is to be top eight in the country, there will be an article in the paper a little better than the one following Big Tens.
