Bands who perform their own original compositions, and cover bands alike, are invited to try out to participate in the Great Southern Festival in South Halls. The event is being sponsored by the South Halls Residence Association.

Those members of qualified bands who are interested in performing at the Great Southern Festival, should call Jen at 814-862-1136 for more information or e-mail her at jki102@psu.edu.

The festival will be held on Saturday April 20th, and the deadline to inquire about entering the event is March 15.

All interested bands should have their own equipment to use during the festival.

In addition, groups should be prepared to play for 45 minute sets of music.

A cash prize will also be awarded.
