For 48 hours, dancers will be on their feet at the Interfraternity Council/Panhellenic Dance Marathon, which begins at 7 p.m. today in Rec Hall

When Bess Atkinson walks onto the Dance Marathon floor tonight, it will bring back memories of the times she was there as a child with cancer.

This year, for the first time, community members can help raise money for the Interfraternity Council/Panhellenic Dance Marathon while donating blood to the American Red Cross.


When students think of Dance Marathon, rarely does the thought of 39 couples dancing in a 30-hour competition looking to raise money for the mentally handicapped come to mind.
